Secure Email Mozilla -Configuring Mozilla SSL Email IMAP
Secure Domain Email customers: If your secure email account with us uses a domain name other than "4securemail.com", simply use the correct name instead of the name "4securemail.com" wherever it appears in the instructions or the examples given. For instance, whenever you see "mail.4securemail.com" you would convert this to "mail.your-domain-name.com".

This document will help you configure your secure email account to work with your compatible Mozilla Email client for the mail.4securemail.com Secure Email Hosting system.

Step 1: Open Mozilla
When you open Mozilla Mail, you may receive a message similar to the below screenshot asking you to select a user profile.
- If you do not already have a user account established, click on the "Create Profile" button and proceed to Step 2.
- Otherwise, proceed to Step 4.

Step 2: Create Profile Wizard

- Enter in your Profle Name in the Enter new profile name text field.
- Click "Finish"

Step 4: Start Mozilla
- Select your Profile from the Available Profiles category list.
- Click "Start Mozilla"

Step 5: Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings
- Click on the Edit pulldown menu.
- Select "Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings"

Step 6: Add your Account
- Click on the "Add Account" button.

Step 7: New Account Wizard (1)
- Make sure "Email account" is selected.
- Click "Next"

Step 8: New Account Wizard (2)
- In the Your Name text field, enter in your full name.
- In the Email Address text field, enter in your 4SecureMail Email account (ie: joeuser@4securemail.com).
- Click "Next"

Step 9: New Account Wizard (3)
- Select the "IMAP" option bubble.
- Enter mail.4securemail.com in the Incoming Server text field.
- Enter mail.4securemail.com in the Outgoing Server text field.
- Click "Next"

Step 13: Outgoing Settings Configuration
- Click to select the "SSL" option bubble under the Use secure connection section.

Step 14: Incoming Secure Server Configuration
- Click on "Server Settings" in the category list on the left.
- Click to check the "Use secure connection (SSL)" check box under the Server Settings section.
- Verify that your settings are similar to the following and click OK.

Step 15: IMAP Folder Subscription
In order to view the folders that you have saved on the server, you must subscribe to them.
- Right-click on the "Inbox" located in the list on the left.
- Select "Subscribe"

Step 16: Enter your Password
- Enter in your 4SecureMail Secure Email password to log in

Step 17: Subscribing
- Select "INBOX" from the list
- Click on "Subscribe"

Step 18: Finished
- Click OK
- You are now ready to send and receive Secure Email.
